Save the date for our 'Change for the Better' event!!

September 9, 2009
As a way to say 'Thank You' for coming to Canada and possibly to say 'sorry' for the theft of one of their sculpture pieces (featured in 'Kingston This Week') we are again hosting a Zimbabwean Music and Dance evening, featuring popular Toronto-based, Zimbabwean-born band 'Masaisai'. We are also expecting some VIP guests!

Mark the date: Saturday, September 26th in your calenders. Once again the concert will be at the Wellington Street Theatre and will start at 7:00pm

Drinks & Sculpture Exhibition: 7pm - 8pm
Live Music & Performance: 8pm - 9:30pm

Please tell ALL your friends by forwarding them the poster! Tickets are $20 ($12 for students) including food (& cash bar). Any surplus funds will be used to set-up a local heritage seed bank in Zimbabwe.

We will also be displaying an exhibition of Tutani and Applonia's works, all of which will be for sale by sealed bid.

Tutani & Applonia are here!

July 30, 2009
Starting this coming week, Tutani and Applonia are going to be sculpting in front of the Kingston Tourist Bureau on Ontario St. Please drop by if you are in Kingston to visit the acclaimed artists. We will also have samples set up near by for purchase, if you are interested.

We are in the midst of planning a little gathering to officially welcome Tutani and Applonia. We will keep you posted on the details, so check back with us in a couple of days.

Good news and more good news!

July 15, 2009
Mapingunure 2 was nothing less than a success. Thank you to everyone who came to support us. Masaisai band did an amazing performance which got the crowd on their feet. We all had an amazing time. Of course, we couldn't have done this without the support of the Kingston businesses who donated items for our live auction. THANK YOU!

So on to some more good news: just yesterday we got confirmation that Tutani and Applonia have received their Canadian Visa and will be in Toronto on July 30th! Keep an eye out for these two sculptors if you are in downtown Kingston.

If you would like to help or would like to donate an item for the auction, please contact us.  We would be very grateful to receive gift vouchers and/or retail items.
